Miriam holds a vast and unrivalled experience in providing legal advice to investment funds of all types, as well as representing institutional investors, both in Israel and abroad.

With over twenty five years of experience, Miriam has been involved in representing the full spectrum of investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, infrastructure and energy funds, real estate funds, venture capital funds and fund of funds. Miriam graduated with honors from Columbia University in 1993 as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and then worked at two leading U.S. law firms – at the New York and London offices of Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, and the New York offices of Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP.

Miriam immigrated to Israel in 1999 and was a partner of a large law firm in Tel Aviv, where she was in charge of the private funds practice, until January 2013, when she and Gil Raveh opened Raveh Haber & Co.

As mentioned above, Miriam is consistently ranked by both Israeli and international guides as one of the leading and most prominent lawyers in Israel in the investment funds’ practice.

‘Despite its boutique size, Raveh Haber & Co. is firmly established as a market-leading firm  in the investment funds sector. The firm advises many of the biggest funds on the market on formation, management and complex structuring issues. Founding partners Gil Raveh and Miriam Haber co-lead the practice and have substantial tax expertise, with the former focusing on Israeli issues and the latter on US tax matters. Both have previous experience practising in the US and so are ideally placed to advise international clients on their entry to the Israeli market.’

The 2022 edition of Chambers and Partners recommends Miriam as follows:

Miriam Haber is a highly respected lawyer in the fund formation space. She is active on cross-border funds matters, particularly those with US aspects.’

The 2022 edition of Who’s Who Legal Global also recommends Miriam as one of the leading lawyers in the private funds’ practice:
